Beginner's flow/Intro to Power
With Yin yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes to access safe and positive ‘stress’ in the deep layers of connective tissue thru out the body.While Yin yoga is a challenging practice, the physical and mental benefits are profound. Yin yoga will help to increase, maintain, and restore range of mobility in the joints. A Yin practice will support organ function and internal detoxification, as well as strengthen the skeletal system and maintain the integrity of the spine.
Mentally, Yin yoga can be equally beneficial and deeply meditative by enabling us to break down negative patterns of thinking and to calm the central nervous system-with the goal of increasing mind, body awareness.
